Windows 10: HP Pavilion 64 bit won't run Elements 18. What ram do I need and where do I get it?

Have Windows 10. Installed PS Elements 18. Not enough ram to run it. Where do I get RAM and how much? Have HP Pavilion. First problem ever.

Hello guys,
I am starting this thread becasue my buddie has decided to buy 4gb (2x2gbs) of ram for his laptop, which would be the hp pavilion dv6830, And he currently has a 32-bit OS, So my question to you is: Couldn't I install A 64-bit OS on his laptop to be able to use the 4gb kit fully?

The reasoning behing the madness is because he is trying to upgrade his laptop rather than buy a whole new one, The new OS would most likly be windows 7.

I have HP Pavilion dv6 notebook with Windows 7 64-bit.

Do you suggest me to install windows 10? Does it work properly?

 

Upgrading to Windows 10 64 bit version

I own a hp pavilion dv6 2165tx notebook pc.

I want to upgrade it to Windows 10 64 bit, currently i am using win 10 32 bit version.

My question is that after upgrading it, will i face any problems regarding drivers?

As the reason behind my upgrade is, recently i have installed a new ram making my total ram to 6 gb but it shows only 2.99 gb usable. Few of my friends suggested me to upgrade pc to 64 bit version in order to make use of all 6gb.
