Windows 10: HP Pavilion and Windows 10

I've had my HP Pavilion for about two years with Windows 10 preinstalled. I bought a Logitech bluetooth keyboard and a Surface bluetooth mouse with it. They worked perfectly for about 6 months but after automatic windows updates they started to work intermittently and now don't work at all.

Restoring my PC to the original 2 year old state restores the bluetooth capability - but after the various auto O/s updates it disappears again

I've run the bluetooth troubleshooter and it says "your device doesn't have bluetooth capability".

I've spent hours on the phone with HP. The only way to restore bluetooth is a total restore. which is mind numbingly painful with all the software installs i have to do.

I've tried deleting Intel adapter drivers and installing the latest ones

I've tried all the bluetooth tricks i can think of and have read about and am tired of software pointing at hardware and vice versa.

does anyone have any suggestions before i have to start wearing bandages on my fingertips from typing on my touch screen for hours


I've been in tech for 40 years so i thought i knew what i was doing but this has me and all the HP folks stumped.

Can't update the HP Pavilion Notebook.

I'm trying to update my system and am getting a message to delete HP Pavilion Notebook - BIOS manually as it is incompatible with the upgrade.

I can't find it to delete it. It's not in the Programs list with the other HP apps.

Any suggestions?

HP added a new 15.6" diagonal model to the 11.6" and 13.3" diagonal HP Pavilion x360s which are 12-14 percent thinner with lighter designs compared to the previous generations with starting weights at 2.93lbs6 and 3.48lbs6 and profiles at 19.3mm and 19.8mm thin respectively. HP's new 15.6" diagonal HP Pavilion x360 starting weight is 5.07lbs6 and is 23.9mm thin. Overclocking HP Pavilion G7 with I3-2330M processor overclocking?

*Cool i have a new hp pavilion g7. it has an i3-2330m processor. is it possible to unlock it to overclock a little. i heard something about a jumper inside on the mainboard that has to be switched. any suggestions would be appreciated. thank you!
