Windows 10: HP Pavilion G6 Laptop Noisy Fan/Bios/Drivers/Bluetooth question so many things

Hi, can anyone help.


I have a lovely HP Pavillion G6 Laptop, with a noisy fan, that gets very hot.


I think this laptop is over 5 years old. It started with Windows 7 and I have upgraded it to the current Windows 10 when Windows 10 arrived.


I want to use it with a basic gummi headphone style microphone for work. However, recordings in several platforms pick up the fan noise internally sounds like a tractor on playback. I have also tried this with a separate microphone.


I have hoovered the fan through the vents as advised. This has helped a little. I have not taken the fan out to clean as I do not feel confident I could put it back together properly, and I am very dependent on this laptop for my income.


I am advised to update the BIOS as the next step. I cannot find the BIOS anywhere and when I run Windows driver autodetect tool it returns with an error code.


So, my next thought was to run it with a wireless headset using blue-tooth to try to reduce playback, as it seems to pick up the fan noise internally through the part plugged in.


So I attempted to connect the Bluetooth with my Huwaii H6 phone, to see if it detected. Nothing.


I cannot see any blue-tooth drivers when in Device manager, even showing 'hidden devices', under 'View' at the top.


Can anyone help? I have looked at getting a new laptop, but they are very expensive, especially for the RAM they give. This has a good 6gb RAM. For the price range I want, I can get about 2gb.

Hi, i have a problem with my laptop HP PAVILION G6.
First, when i turned on the laptop, the system (windows 10) was starting up, after pushing enter the windows circle was turning, but after that - the screen of the laptop tuned off and it wasnt highlighted (the diode and fans of the laptop was working).
After that i removed the HDD disc and mounted an SSD disc (without any system). When i tried to install a ISO with windows 10 from the USB disc, the laptop the problem suddenly appear again.

Any ideas how to fix it? Ubuntu and linux boot without problems.

HP pavilion keyboard driver is missing

My friend has an old HP Pavilion g6-1a52nr Notebook PC, 64 bit, the laptop's keyboard driver went missing after updating windows 10, the keyboard no longer works.

Windows updater can't find it, we tried several driver downloaders like Dumo and driver booster and easy drivers and HP support assistant and Snappy Driver, nothing works, the driver isn't listed on HP drivers list, they only list the touchpad driver.

How to reinstall it?
