Windows 10: HP Pavillion Gaming Laptop 15-ec2xxx Windows 11; webcam stopped working

I am experiencing a persistent issue with the built-in webcam on my HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec2xxx model 3E3R5PA running Windows 11. Initially, around 1-2 months ago, I noticed that the webcam would occasionally fail to function, displaying a "Camera not found" error when attempting to use any application that required camera access. A simple system restart would temporarily resolve the issue.However, over time, this problem has become more frequent, and now the webcam has completely stopped working. HP laptop webcam stopped working, and driver problems

On my HP for some reason the driver is always downloaded from microsoft by windows update!
You should try to get the MS one I guess.

This is how you see it in device manager.




Maybe you should try to update the driver manually or even choose :
Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer and see if
you can find it.

 

Windows 11 HP Pavillion Gaming's drivers suddenly stopped working

my HP Pavillion Gaming Laptop 15-dk1xxx suddenly got VERY laggy (runs games that it previously ran at 120 fps at 20) and I noticed that its fans are more silent now, which may link the problem to be related to the drivers.

All of the drivers and windows are up to date

Has anyone else had experienced this? How can I fix it?

Using Win10 on an HP Pavillion Gaming Laptop

PIN went away. Now when I go into create a PIN I get "Something went wrong. Try again later". The step prior is: Start.>Settings>Accounts>Sign in Options>Windows Hello PIN and it reads "This options is currently unavailable - click to learn more". I
followed the steps suggested, but they don't work
