    HP Pavillion Laptop will not restart


    Hi,


    As far as I can tell, my pc is not having problems accept for one. The laptop simply will not restart. I can push the power button off, then push the button again and it starts perfectly, but a restart will not work.

    Please help with what to do to solve.

    Win10/HP Pavillion - PIN "unavailable"

    Using Win10 on an HP Pavillion Gaming Laptop

    PIN went away. Now when I go into create a PIN I get "Something went wrong. Try again later". The step prior is: Start.>Settings>Accounts>Sign in Options>Windows Hello PIN and it reads "This options is currently unavailable - click to learn more". I
    followed the steps suggested, but they don't work

    Suggestions?.

    HP Pavillion Laptop will not restart

    HP Pavillion DV4 Laptop Needs Screen Cable...

    Have a HP Pavillion DV4 Laptop, screen started to go whacky about a year ago, but wiggling the cover would fix it, over time got worse to the point it completely stopped working.

    I took the unit apart, put it back together and WHAM, it was working fine... until I moved the screen and it started to go haywire again, lines, a semi blank white screen, etc. External monitor works fine.

    The screen is a complete b*tch to work on, and I suspect it's a damaged cable. There's a cable bundle (it's not a ribbon) that winds around the lid hinge - I think it's frayed.

    Nice laptop, can handle most games and loaded with features. Would like to fix it. Anyone have experience with an HP laptop?
