Windows 10: HP Pavillion Restarts Randomly without apparent cause

Our HP Pavillion 590 with Windows 10 Restarts randomly . We have replace the power supply. Looked at event log entries at restart times but find no event apparently linked with restart. majority of restarts are when computer is sleeping but also occur when computer in use. Fans are operating and vents are not clogged or blocked.

PIN went away. Now when I go into create a PIN I get "Something went wrong. Try again later". The step prior is: Start.>Settings>Accounts>Sign in Options>Windows Hello PIN and it reads "This options is currently unavailable - click to learn more". I
followed the steps suggested, but they don't work

Suggestions?.

 

HP Pavillion PC Randomly Restarting Itself After Installing Windows 10

Since installing Windows 10 my HP Pavillion machine which is only around 12 months old keeps randomly restarting itself. It happens on average about once a day, also it isn't like a proper restart like when a update has been installed for example. The
screen just suddenly goes black and the lights on the tower go off for a second if that (almost as if the power has been momentarily cut) before it quickly starts itself up again.

I would really like to resolve this issue as it is most inconvenient as you can image when it randomly shuts down in the middle of something, I find myself constantly saving my work. Aside from this problem I have been really pleased with Windows 10.

randomly restarts. As our initial troubleshooting step, we suggest you to run the Power troubleshooter on your computer and check if it fixes the issue. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows key.
• Type Troubleshoot.
• Under Find and fix other problems look for
  Power.
• Then Run the troubleshooter.
