Discus and support HP PC lockout after update- in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; So, I just did the new update and ended up with a TPM and bitlocker issue.     HP PC lockout after update-


    So, I just did the new update and ended up with a TPM and bitlocker issue. I now can't log into my laptop--it tells me that "my pin is no longer available due to the security settings on the device. Click to set up new pin." Then I click-- and nothing happens. Help!

    Greg, Thanks for the reply. Techwalla link: removed HP update step one; No startup program group step two;No HP listed step three.

    HP Support: No support for my HP laptop driver, same from AMD manufacturer.

    Sorry for the delay in response.

    We would suggest you to runt the Power troubleshooter and check.

    Try to run the troubleshooter and check.

    • Type Troubleshooting in the search box and hit
      Enter.
    • Select View all from the left pane and select Power.
    • Follow the on-screen troubleshooter and try the steps.
    We would also suggest you to update the firmware of the BIOS and install the chipset drivers and check.

    For steps related to updating firmware for the BIOS and chipset drivers, you may contact the HP.

    PC Build Steps

    Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval
    • Install system in case
      • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
    • Turn on PC
    • setup HDD
    • run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
      • run realtemp at the same time
    • While in Prime95 test
      • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
      • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
      • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!
    What do you guys think??
