    Thank you for being a part of Windows 10.



    What is the exact model of your HP Printer?

    As Windows 10 is the new operating system, the drivers for HP 2540 should not available. I would suggest you to uninstall the drivers and re-install the drivers for the printer in compatibility mode.

    Make older programs compatible with this version of Windows

    HP 2540 printer

    After upgrading to Windows 10, the printer does not work.

    I did not receive an error report or other details.

    I have been to Windows support and upgraded and downloaded and used troubleshooting and promised my first born.

    So, here I am.

    Has anybody else resolved a problem with the HP 2540 printer and how did you do it?

    HP - Printers - HP Deskjet 2540 series - Fout 0x80240017

    Today I installed the latest version of the HP Deskjet 2540 all in one from the HP site.

    Than once more I ran the Windows Update Troubleshooter and it fixed something.

    At last I searched for updates in Windows 10 on my computer, but again our old friend "HP - Printers - HP Deskjet 2540 series - Fout 0x80240017" came back to stay.

    I hope one of the future updates from Windows 10 solves my problem.

    The printer works...
