    HP printer is producing photos with a pale, greenish tint.


    I have an HP C5180 printer and recently replaced all the cartridges with new ink appropriate for the C5100 series but my photos are turning out with a pale, greenish tint. I've tried unplugging the device and even removing the printer from the pc and reinstalling it but there's no change. I've made sure the filter is set to standard just as it always has been. I printed a self test diagnostic page that has an example of each color and they look normal. I just can't figure out what's wrong.

    To understand the issue better, I would need more information from your end.

    • Were you able to print photos correctly before?
    • Are you facing same issues on Windows 10 and Windows 8?
    • Does the purple tint occur while printing from both Epson and HP printers?
    This issue could have occurred due to these reasons:

    1. Incorrect printer settings.

    2. Corrupt printer driver.

    Try the steps listed here:

    Method 1:

    I suggest you to refer the article and run Printer troubleshooter. Check if that helps.

    Fix printer problems



    Method 2:

    If the issue persists, I suggest you to download and install latest printer driver from the manufacturer website and check if it helps.

    Greenish tint on screen

    Hey Microsoft

    Every time when I boot my PC my screen automatically turns into a greenish tint. I can fix this when I change my resolution or do calibrate my colors but it comes back every time when I reboot/boot my pc. It also happens with some games that I play for example
    Fortnite.

    Could this be a bug? I got this problem right after that I had downloaded a new update of Windows 10.

    E71 camera greenish

    My E90 & E65 also has greenish tint when shooting videos & taking photos indoors, I guess it's because of the insufficient lighting & white balance that is the main cause.

    But the quality of images improves drasticly outdoors, I've own 10 camera phones over the past several years & their images either comes out greenish or with pinkish hue at interior environments.
