Windows 10: HP printer not printing. See error code 45

Getting error code 45 for wireless printing. Problem started before modem replaced.

Hi there, Happy Holidays.

I have been having trouble with my HP |LaserJet P1102W printer. When trying to print a document, the Error Code 45 pops up. It said the printer wasn't connected to my laptop, however it is physically connected to my laptopvia the printer cable. I have spent 3 days trying to rectify the problem. I have deleted and uploaded the printer various times to no avail. I have done the Windows Powershell (Adminstrator) cleanup, again to no avail.

Have you got any other suggestions other than bring it in to a repair shop?

Error - Printing on Network printer

We have 4 printers on our Windows print server. The server was migrated from win2k3 to 2k8 on friday. 3/4 printers are working great, the other is having issues. When trying to print a test page to it, it gets a job status of Error - Printing.

When sending a small word document to it, it sends it to the printer, the queue is empty but nothing prints. If I goto the printer itself, it doesnt show any errors and I can print things such as information sheets and diagnostic files just fine.

All four printers are the same model, all 4 have a static IP. I can ping the printer successfully. I've tried printing from both an XP machine and the print server itself. I tried removing and adding the printer on the print server. And lastly, uunplugged the printer for 30 seconds, plugged it back in.

Any ideas?

I'd like to ask few questions so I can isolate your concern properly. Kindly answer the following:

• What's the current build of your computer? Press Windows key + R and then type winver.
• Just to clarify, are you getting the error message "Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer... (Code 45)”? If no, please provide the complete error message.
• Have you tried to install the latest update for the driver?

If you're receiving the error message I've mentioned in my second question, this error occurs if a device that was previously connected to the computer is no longer connected. To resolve this problem, reconnect this hardware
device to the computer. This error code is only used to indicate the disconnected status of the device and does not require you to resolve it. The error code resolves automatically when you connect the associated device to the computer.
