Windows 10: hp reverb g2 not recognized

I recently purchased an hp reverb g2 as it was the most suited to my needs and was released recently. Windows does not seem to recognize it at all? I've downloaded the drivers, windows mixed reality and the steam app as well but my new expensive headset I'm very excited to use is not recognized anywhere? I have kept my windows installation up to date so very confused why this is not working

HP Reverb G2's Cameras Seem to Be Misoriented?

It's a hardware issue or HP's software that would control it.

I would contact HP Support under warranty to either fix or replace it:

HP Reverb G2 shaking

It sounds like you are currently having problems with picture shows on HP Reverb G2 shaking after upgrading to Windows 11. Sorry for the inconvenience.



These failures during use may be caused by the incompatibility of device drivers with Windows 11. However, after searching, it seems that there is no driver for Windows 11 to install on your device, it is recommended that you contact HP, but you also can try to download and install it again to see if the problem can be solved.

If you want to go back to Windows 10, you can try the following methods:

1. If you upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 within 10 days, you can go back by Recovery:Recovery options in Windows (microsoft.com)



2.If the update is more than 10 days, please go

Settings > Recovery > Restart now. After restarting, it will automatically enter the Windows recovery environment, please click "Troubleshoot" > "Advanced Options", and then click "Uninstall Updates" to remove the recently installed Windows 11.
