    HP Sure Run shows an install date 10 months before PC was setup?


    HP EliteDesk 705 G5 Desktop Mini PC running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit v20H2, Build 19042.985. New from Cheap Laptops, Chromebooks, and Desktop deals | Technoworld and first setup on 12th January 2021. Looking at the installed programs list I see all are dated 12th January 2021 or later except for HP Sure Run. This shows an install date of 11th March 2020, which is 10 months before I bought it new. I cant see it when I look in Task Manager Processes or Services. I have Norton 360 installed so I dont think I need HP Sure Run as well. See https://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/GetDoc...e=4AA7-2563ENW Above documentation implies it can be enabled which suggests it is installed but not enabled. Maybe Norton 360 disabled it to avoid conflicts. Q1 I intend to uninstall HP Sure Run and just rely on Norton 360 but, out of interest, does anyone have any experience of HP Sure Run? Q2 Can anyone explain how HP Sure Run shows an install date 10 months before the PC was first set up? Thanks.

    Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

    I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?

    Insurgency wont install and run for me....

    I have played and have fully updated CS and Half life 2....
    I am using the newest client and installed the SDK.

    I am completely blown away, if i click the desktop icon it starts the sdk and then closes, and it doesn't show up in my game list...

    First mod attempt install here, followed the directions step by step on the mods website...

    Any ideas?
