    HP Truevision HD Camera not working after recent update


    The integrated camera on my laptop does not work after the most recent windows update.

    The light comes on to indicate that the camera has been activated, but there is no picture, just a black screen.

    The camera was definitely working as recently as two weeks ago, and the only change to my laptop was the windows update.

    HP TrueVision HD something went wrong camera

    I have an HP Stream 13 with a built in HP TrueVision HD webcam.

    When I open the camera app, I get "Something went wrong."

    When I look at device manager, I do not see it under imaging devices. So I cannot update the driver. (It was unclear what Troubleshooter did.)

    How can I get this webcam working?

    Installing HP TrueVision HD Camera

    I have started using ZOOM and can not start my video. On my laptop monitor it shows HP TrueVision HD next to the camera eye.

    On my Desktop it shows: CyberLink YouCAM

    I have been trouble shooting and I received this error message:

    0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached>

    Please help.
