Windows 10: HP Victus 15 webcam not working anymore

Discus and support HP Victus 15 webcam not working anymore in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; It started since I started using Phone Link.     HP Victus 15 webcam not working anymore


    It started since I started using Phone Link. I believe it has somehow messed with the webcam permissions, and switched to the phone's camera automatically.I disabled the Phone Link camera, disabled Phone Link altogether, signed out from the account, and the camera is still not working.When I open the camera app, the LED indicator lights up for a split second, then turns off for five seconds, then turns on again for a split second, and turns off again, turns on, turns off, all in a cycle. I went to an online webcam tester app, and I can confirm there is no hardware and/or driver problem, becaus

    I am still having this problem with my HP Pavilion 15 Touch Notebook PC. This webcam stopped working after my update to Windows 10 from 8 over a year ago. I was hoping to see a solution on the web about this but am not. My webcam doesn't work with windows
    apps like Camera or Skype. Please publish steps that restore this hardware functionality. The driver has been the same since 2006 and doesn't update or rollback. Thank you, Chris

    This issue can occur if the camera drivers are not up-to date, your anti-virus may be blocking the camera, or camera app is not installed properly. I would suggest you to follow the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the article:
