Windows 10: hp z440 - can I update the OS...? to Late-Sept-2024 23H2 update or 24H2 update?

My two unsupported PCs: Windows 11 Pro 23H2 1. hp z440 2. hp z640 Prompted for Update at start of the month [Sept 2024] but Now getting NO prompt at the end of the month [28 Sept 2024] hp z440 - can I update the OS...? to Late-Sept-2024 23H2 update or 24H2 update?

Hi

I am trying updating my windows 11 from Edition

Windows 11 Pro

Version 23H2

Installed on ‎19-‎06-‎2024

OS build 22631.3807

Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22700.1020.0

to 24H2.

After download and install 100%, while system restart, it is asking for choosing the language. Upon choosing any language, it goes to troubleshoot screen for repair or reset.

I am getting error code of 0xc19001e1.

What to do ?

 

Copilot+ pc Windows 11 24H2 for Arm

Currently 24H2 is an insider preview and not available outside the program. As the version suggests it should be available after release in the second half of 2024. (perhaps Sept/Oct)

 

Cumulative updates for Windows - May 2024

We have multiple Windows 10 22H2 workstations that do not detect 2024-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5037768). If you run the Windows update list in powershell or click "Check for updates" we see the following:

KB5037771 134GB Windows 11, version 23H2

The KB listed appears to be related to the 2024-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 11. Why is this appearing on a Windows 10 machine and why won't the Windows 10 machine detect 2024-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5037768)? We have attempted the Windows Update reset script on affected already without resolution to this issue.
