Windows 10: hp2200 printer shows error

Cannot connect Windows 7 computer to HP2200 printer connected to Wwindows 10 computer.

• How were you trying to connect your printer to your Windows 7 computer?
• Were getting an error when connecting?
• Have you tried re-installing the driver of your printer in your Windows 7 computer?

• 
  My previous system had a Windows 7 computer (call it A) connected by a hardwired network through a router to a second Windows 7 computer (call it B) which was directly connected to the HP2200 printer.
  
  
• 
  I had to replace computer B and did so with a new computer with Windows 7 Pro (call it C). The HP2200 is now attached to Computer C.
  
• 
  In system 1 (above) the printer worked fine and in system 2 I cannot get the printer to work.

  I removed the printer from computer A then tried to reinstall the driver.
  I probably didn’t know how to do this correctly but was unable to reinstall the printer.

  Computer A was unable to “see” the printer on the network.
