Windows 10: hp5430s plugged in to ac it says battery low 1 percent an to plug in while plugged in...

hello i have a hp 4530s laptopo an the battery was working fine an the charger installed windows 10 an now the battery wont charge i bought a new battery an after it went dead from using it i plugged into ac an my computer thinks its running on battery power at 1 percent says to plug in but its plugged in checked the power supply voltage an amps an it checked good also wont install new bios cuz of power issue please helpi have unistalled battery in device manager an the restarted comuter it reinstalled same problem

I have done all of the above and when I plug my computer in with a fully charged battery the screen still goes black - I am on Windows 10 and my computer is 3 days old - HP Pavillion Laptop - I know there has got to be an easy answer for this Problem - Like
a setting somewhere, but I am used to using my computer plugged in at all times and I think that it is stupid that I have to take out the battery to do this??? Any more suggestions??? :-(

My computer is not a laptop. It's a desktop workstation and is plugged into a UPS. I have also plugged it directly into a wall electrical outlet and the same message appears.
There is no battery to charge. Yet, I keep getting the message that the "Battery is very low. Plug in your PC now". This message pops on my screen every 30 seconds. Oddly the battery icon next to the clock that
is normally for laptops says "3% available (plugged in, charging). Again, there's nothing no rechargeable battery in my desktop.

Yes, I have read most, if not all, of the old threads. There seem to be a dozen or more possible solutions but none that is guaranteed to work under all circumstances. At the moment my battery is showing 100% charge at the battery icon. When I go into F2, the battery information shows AC Adapter Unknown (a Dell Adapter) and battery health normal on 99% Charge.
When I go into F12, Diagnostics, it shows AC Adapter as 1 Watt (the actual adapter is 130 Watt).
As I have been running the laptop with the adapter plugged in for a number of days now I have just unplugged it and will see what happens when I plug back in with the battery having partly discharged. The one suggested solution I have not attempted is to update the BIOS as doing this can, I read, cause more problems than it solves. By the way, all the Dell diagnostic tests I run show everything in the best of health. Clearly the diagnostic tests themselves need a diagnostic test.
