Whenever I boot up my laptop I get a Norton security File Insight Stating "http://update.cloudnetworktools.com/kits/autoupdate/52/SSE/vuzeExtension.exe" I have long since Uninstalled this Vuze free software from my device. Now some cloud network service is continually trying to reInstall this software. I keep telling Norton to remove this file from my system, but on next reboot this Cloud service will retry to run this vuzeExtension.exe. This has nothing to do with any browser or startup program. I have tried to access this Cloud service to get this routine off my back. This is a recurring routine and I would like to know how to remove this . Robert

    :)

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond http://update.cloudnetworktools.com Tries to reinstall VuzeExtension.exe :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.

Windows 10 Update Fails(?) and tries again every day

Thanks for providing that information. Since the issue still persists after running the troubleshooter,
you might consider manually stopping and restarting the Windows Update components.

Important: Follow the steps in this section carefully. Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Before you modify it, back
    up the registry for restoration
    in case problems occur.

To reset the Windows Update components, follow these steps:

    • Open a command prompt. Press and hold (or right-click) the Windows logo button on the taskbar and then select Command Prompt (Admin). Select Yes when the User Account Control box appears.
    • Stop the BITS service, the Windows Update service, and the Cryptographic service. To do this, at a command prompt, type the following commands. Make sure that you press Enter after you type each command.

      • net stop bits
      • net stop wuauserv
      • net stop appidsvc
      • net stop cryptsvc
    • Delete the qmgr*.dat files. To do this, at a command prompt, type the following command, and then press Enter:
      Del "%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Downloader\qmgr*.dat"
    • If this is your first attempt at resolving your Windows Update issues by following the steps in this article, you should skip step 4 and go to step 5. You should follow step 4 at this point in the troubleshooting only if you cannot resolve your Windows
Update issues after you follow all steps except step 4. (Step 4 is performed by the "Aggressive" mode of the Fix it Solution that was mentioned earlier.)

      • Rename the softare distribution folders backup copies. To do this, at a command prompt, type the following commands. Make sure that you press Enter after you type each command.

        • Ren %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.bak
        • Ren %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 catroot2.bak
      • Reset the BITS service and the Windows Update service to the default security descriptor. To do this, at a command prompt, type the following commands. Make sure that you press Enter after you type each command.

    • At a command prompt, type the following command, and then press Enter:
      cd /d %windir%\system32

    http://update.cloudnetworktools.com Tries to reinstall VuzeExtension.exe

we couldn't complete the update kb3135173

    Hello,

I'm sorry to inform you that your method 2 was unsuccessful.

For printer problem, I already contact HP but it seems that I need to make sure windows update work first.

Back to Method 2, are you sure this method also work for windows 10?

Anyway, I follow those steps and these what I encounter:

    • net stop appidsvc: cmd "Application identity service is not started"
    • net stop cryptsvc: There was a y/n question. My replay was Y.
    • Step 4. In the first tried, I skip the 4th step.
    • Step 6. There are several dll that either "failed to load" or "loaded but "entry point DllRegisterServer was not found". I didn't read all the error message, but this are dll that show error message:
    • regsvr32.exe mshtml.dll
    • regsvr32.exe shdocvw.dll
    • regsvr32.exe browseui.dll
    • regsvr32.exe msxml.dll
    • regsvr32.exe gpkcsp.dll
    • regsvr32.exe sccbase.dll
    • regsvr32.exe slbcsp.dll
    • regsvr32.exe initpki.dll
    • regsvr32.exe wuaueng.dll
    • regsvr32.exe wuaueng1.dll
    • regsvr32.exe wucltui.dll
    • regsvr32.exe wuweb.dll
    • regsvr32.exe qmgr.dll
    • regsvr32.exe qmgrprxy.dll
    • regsvr32.exe wucltux.dll
    • regsvr32.exe muweb.dll
    • regsvr32.exe wuwebv.dll
    • Step 10 i skip this.
    • Are you sure step 11 need to be avoided and not step 10?
    • I restart my computer, run windows update, no luck. Try those steps again with step 4 included.
    • step 4.a. Ren %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 catroot2.bak
      "access denied".
    • for step 6, still the same.
    • Restart, no luck.
    Now, what should I do?

By the way: I already uninstall HP printer driver, but strange enough windows update still show that there are update for the printer. Tried to install, error though.
