The oil absorbs the heat. Oil can hold much more heat the air so it takes awhile for the oil to heat up. You could run the oil through a radiator to cool the oil.

I plan on using this idea but taking it a step farther by cooling the oil using peltiers. Hopefully I can get a computer running in a tank of oil at -10C. This way you wouldnt have any condensation damaging the components.





Then I plan on putting the tank into a wine cooler to insulate it from the outside air.
