    I wonder why Microsoft does not post the status of the brightness bug for Intel + 1903 graphics driver.


    I want to know how long it will be before it is fixed.


    I have a PnP-Monitor with a broken driver ! icon and Microsoft specifically states on their BUGS page

    DO NOT ATTEMPT TO UPDATE THE DRIVER


    Well, now when rebooting it takes forever because of the broken compatibility


    This is unacceptable.

    I was offered the update, there was no block on my system as there was until all bugs were fixed for 1809---and that went smoothly.


    This is not an OLD computer...


    I want to know if I should go back to 1809 or just wait

    This is a KNOWN issue that was PUSHED to my machine during the OFFERED updates to 1903. there was NO WARNING at all.


    This is just unacceptable


    I know the complexities of software-hardware development...but this is like that MAX 737 bug,

    Is it going to go on for a year now?


    Can Microsoft answer without lying, when they will be fixing this issue?


    Please do not respond with helpful solutions unless you are fully aware of the 1903 brightness BUG

    Many have offered updating drivers, turning off fast boot---all of that...

    this is a BUG and Microsoft needs to release a TIME AND DATE when this will be fixed

    Feature updates for Windows 10 are released twice a year, targeting March and September, via the Semi-Annual Channel (SAC) and will be serviced with monthly quality updates for 18 months from the date of the release. We recommend that you begin deployment of each SAC release immediately to devices selected for early adoption and ramp up to full deployment at your discretion. This will enable you to gain access to new features, experiences, and integrated security as soon as possible.

    Starting with Windows 10, version 1809, feature updates for Windows 10 Enterprise and Education editions with a targeted release month of September will be serviced for 30 months from their release date. For information about servicing timelines, see the Windows lifecycle fact sheet.

    Windows 10 Attains RTM Status

    Microsoft's ambitious next-generation operating system, Windows 10, has attained RTM (release to market) status. This marks the official end of product development, and the beginning of its distribution. Windows 10 RTM (build 10240) is that version which will be transmitted to PC OEM partners (to pre-install on their new notebooks and desktops), physical media manufacturers, and to the team handling GWX (Get Windows 10), the tool that upgrades existing eligible Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 installations to their applicable variants of the new OS. Microsoft will officially launch Windows 10 on 29th July, 2015.
