Alright then, so my church uses a HuddlecamHD 720P USB camera for recording and streaming. Up until about 3 weeks ago, the camera worked fine. Then it started glitching, working for a few minutes, or for 10-15 minutes then disconnecting. Through about an hour and a half of troubleshooting, I determined what I thought to be the problem: the USB output on the back was too close to the wall for strain relief on the plug. In other words, the plug was jammed pretty hard between the wall and the camera. My though was, since after taking it down and testing it on a couple of test computers and using different cords, that perhaps the solder connection on the circuit board cracked. Had an electrician fix that, the usb port was good and tight again, he tested it on his Win 7 machine and it connected right up.

Brought it back to the church, plugged it in; no dice. The computer is absolutely detecting it. It's detecting it and shutting it down, because it can be seen in if you check 'show hidden devices' in the Device Manager. I was stumped. I pulled it down, tested it on yet another Win 10 computer; no dice. Tried another Win 7 PC, fired right up. Continued troubleshooting; across 5 different W10 machines, they all behave the same, they detect the connection and then shut the camera down. Let it be known that the camera is independently powered, it has it's own power sources (This is the camera). When plugged in, the computer sees the following, that a USB 2.0 Hub has been plugged in, and that a serial device and a camera are plugged in (the serial device being the controller board). The manufacturer recommends doing these steps (which I did) to fix problems with connecting; all to no avail. Here are a couple of screenshots of the device manager view of the camera, one attached to a 7 PC, the other attached to a 10 PC:

In both cases, the camera is plugged in and powered up on its AC adapter, but the windows 10 computer will not power it up.

I'm an IT professional and I'm completely stumped. I'll stress again that this camera worked fine in Win 10 for the past 8+ months, and just recently started testing it's mortality with me. We are currently on 1803, I am going to test it on a 1709 release tomorrow, see if there's something there, but even then we worked on 1803 for a while. Also, this camera uses Microsoft's UVC drivers, and there are no firmware updates for the camera (never were, from what I can find).

I guess i'm just looking for ideas as to why 10 sees the camera for what it is, but 'powers it down'. Thanks in advance.

    :)

  2. Windows 10 infinite restart black screen

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

URGENT HELP NEEDED! HDD suddenly became blank!

    Hey there, @Shamonto Hasan Easha!

I'd try re-plugging the hard drive and checking if the cable is damaged. I'd also suggest to try plugging the drive in another computer and see if it gets recognized properly there. Is it a IDE or SATA drive you're using?
If the drive is unallocated, this means that the partition has been lost after the power went down.
Check out this thread for more ideas on how to solve the issue. There are some detailed steps there that might be useful for you:

    Hope this helped.
