    HUGE DATA CONSUMPTION IN WINDOWS 10 PRO


    I have installed a fresh new windows 10 pro version by using a bootable usb . the problem is that it is using data rapidly since my 1 gb data got sucked in 5 hours. i have turned on metered connection. it helped me but not fully satisfied me. people often say that windows is a data eating os but the fact that horrifies me my previous windows which was the latest 1903 ,it doesnt have used data in this way . if anybody had any idea please help me!

    Hi,

    There are several causes of high data usage on your network. It depends on the applications or software used that requires network connection. For you to check the data consumption or data usage on your PC, follow the steps below:

    • On Cortana search, type data usage overview.
    • Select Data usage overview from the list.
    • Under Overview, click on Usage details.

    To address your concern with auto update options, can you tell us what particular updates are installed automatically on your computer?
