Windows 10: Huge Paging File despite not using full RAM

Hi there Im hoping somebody can help me with an issueI noticed a few days ago my C drive was suddenly 30ish GB down than usual and looking WinDirStat it revealed a 34GB mammoth of a Paging fileIve never tinkered with this setting with its default being set to windows managing this For my Computer its used for gaming with 32GB on board and I am rarely going near that, restarts and launching the PC keeps this 34 paging file intact and it remains static regardless of what I doI did a DISM and SFC plus virus/Malware scans and did a RAM diagnosis test and all have came back OKThe computer itself ap

Set minimum and maximum to a constant number as suggested by others, that will help reduce fragmentation on the drive coz of different page file sizing.

With modern HDD's and systems it's not as big of a deal as it used to be, I would say at least have a 1GB pagefile if you have 4GB of ram. There are some programs and parts of windows that won't be too happy about no pagefile. I've ran without, with a small page file and with a larger page file, really not a huge diff with 4GB of RAM, but I got less errors in some programs when I had a page file.

Windows was designed to use it, I'd recommend leaving it active. *Toast :toast:
