Windows 10: HUGE PROBLEM

Anyone who follows me knows my system is full of huge problems too numerous to address individually, except new issues. Suddenly, this system after going to the screensaver I presume is included in Windows, is not working. I get a black screen only and a message that an error shut down the screensaver. When I move the mouse to trigger the system to allow me into it so I can review open tabs or open files or whatever, it takes a very long time to get from where ever it is to the system being opened and ready to use and about the only thing I have found to speed it up is to try to open the Ta

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.

I would suggest you to run hardware and drivers troubleshooter to help you with the problem.



Try the following steps to run the troubleshooter:

• 
  Click "Search" and type "Troubleshooting" without quotes and hit enter.
  
• 
  Click “Hardware and Sound”
  
• 
  Select “Hardware and Devices”
  
• 
  Click next to run the troubleshooter.

Need some advice on computer problems.

Run HDtune (free version) on you hard drive. but most likely that the problem. You can also test your memory with Memtest86 as suggested above
