    Huge slowness after Windows 11 KB5034123 update


    I face very bad performance and slowness on Windows 11 pro after the Windows 11 KB5034123 update. This patch installed on my machine on 11 Jan 2024. Also, Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 KB5033920 has been installed on 11 Jan 2024.I started facing hug slowness on my machine MS Surface Pro 6 since this date.Processor: i7-8650U CPU, RAM 16GB,

    C:\Users\geema\OneDrive\Public

    I have been totally unable to install this updated "2024-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034123)"

    Get several errors including this one. Download error - 0x80248007

    Have tried every trouble shooting advice I have found to no avail. the Update troubleshooter fixes something every time I run it.

    I even tried to reinstall windows 11 and I get errors with that.

    I tried updating with powershell and with the microsoft update catalog to no avail. Would NOT let me run it. Said it was from an unknown source.

    Please help
