    Hello can you please help when I am using a TPM with Microsoft's Bitlocker any ISO I make of a DVD for system testing with Hyper V from a real DVD or CD-ROM Data disc is marked as a encrypted file, and can not be open with Hypervisor. If I am logged in as a admin, why can't the TPM and bitlocker decode the ISO for hypervisor it is all Microsoft software. This works if I save the file on a USB drive.Also I can not just use a DVD/CD-ROM drive with hypervisor it is making me create new ISO files every time I need access to a DVD or CD-ROM

    Hyper V deativication

    Hi Geoffrey,

    Hyper-V lets you run an operating system or computer system as a virtual machine on Windows. Before proceeding in disabling
    Hyper-V, please create a backup of your files for security purposes.

    To disable Hyper-V, please follow the steps below:

    • On the Cortana search box, type Turn Windows Features on or off and press
      Enter.
    • Look for the Hyper-V folder.
    • Uncheck the tick-box next to the main Hyper-V folder and click
      OK.
    • Restart your PC.

    Thanks for the reply,

    The Users\Public\Documents\Hyper-V\Virtual hard disks is where the VMs .vhd file is located.

    I'm looking for the Ubuntu .iso file that the Hyper-V 'quick create' downloads and uses to build the VM.

    Windows 10 1709 Hyper-V cannot use "Insert Disk" to mount ISO file

    Maybe you need read my question carefully.

    My question is not "File association may have caused this issue when you right click an ISO file and Mount does not show at top of list." AT ALL.

    It is related Hyper-V menu.
