Windows 10: hyper-v disappear after win11 24H2 upgrade

Discus and support hyper-v disappear after win11 24H2 upgrade in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Hyper-v worked well before I upgrade my windows to win11 24H2, but disappeared after upgrading was done.Also I can't find it from below menu so I can't...     hyper-v disappear after win11 24H2 upgrade


    Hyper-v worked well before I upgrade my windows to win11 24H2, but disappeared after upgrading was done.Also I can't find it from below menu so I can't re-install or remove it.Anyone know what happened and how to fix it?Many thanks!

    How to disable Hyper-V?

    May I ask. Why you want to disable it

    Try these steps it may work,.?

    How to disable Hyper-V

    1. in Control Panel : select Programs and Features.
    2. Select : Turn Windows features on or off.
    3. Expand Hyper-V >> expand Hyper-V Platform
    4. and then, remove the : Hyper-V Hypervisor check box.

    Hyper V deativication

    Hi Geoffrey,

    Hyper-V lets you run an operating system or computer system as a virtual machine on Windows. Before proceeding in disabling
    Hyper-V, please create a backup of your files for security purposes.

    To disable Hyper-V, please follow the steps below:

    • On the Cortana search box, type Turn Windows Features on or off and press
      Enter.
    • Look for the Hyper-V folder.
    • Uncheck the tick-box next to the main Hyper-V folder and click
      OK.
    • Restart your PC.

    Should you have further questions, please let us know.
