    hyper v option doesnot appear in turn on and off features settings

    Hello birajchhetri, welcome to the Microsoft community, I'll be happy to help you today;

    I understand that you want to enable or disable Hyper-V in Windows 11;

    What exactly is the computer model and manufacturer?

    Initially I recommend that you try to enable Hyper-V within the Bios;

    Access Bios and System security;

    Look for the option "Intel virtualization technology" and enable the option;

    Save the changes and restart the PC;

    Now go to the "Turn Windows features on or off" panel and check if the Hyper-V feature is displayed in the list;

    Hope this helps, see you soon!

  3. HYPER V NOT TURNING ON

    Hi,

    My name is Cindy. I am sorry you are having this problem. I know it is really frustrating. I will do my best to help you with this problem.

    Click on the Win + R key to open the Run dialog.

    Type control and open the control panel.

    Click on Programs.

    Next, click on Programs and Features.

    In the left pane, click on Turn Windows features on or off.

    In the Windows Features dialog, locate Hyper-V.

    Uncheck the Hyper-V option to turn the feature.

    ----

    Scroll down and locate the Virtual Machine Platform and Windows Hypervisor

    Select both options and click OK.

    Windows will Install Hyper-V and other features from your computer.

    When completed, restart your PC.

    ----

    Type Services in the Search and open the page.

    Scroll down the page until you see the HV Service. Make sure this is running.

    Then click on the Hyper V services beneath this and turn all of these on.

    Please let me know if you have questions.

    Cindy

    Hyper-V Hypervisor automatically disables itself when i turn it on in the Optional Features...

    Even after Uninstalling Hyper-V - msinfo32 shows "A hypervisor has been detected"

    Hi,

    I'm running into a weird issue on my Lenovo Z51 laptop. Its equipped with an intel i7 processor and is running Windows 10 Pro (Build 14393).

    I had Hyper-V installed on this laptop with all kinds of VMs running for a while. Then I got a VMware license and decided to uninstall Hyper-V. I uninstalled Hyper-V by going to "Turn Windows Features on or off", unchecking all options under Hyper-V and
    then rebooting the machine on the prompt. After the reboot, I installed VMware but when I try to start the VMs, it gives me an error that Hyper-V is still running.

    In the "Turn Windows Features on or off", the box for Hyper-V is unchecked. However, when I look at msinfo32 it still says>>

    "A hypervisor has been detected. Features required for Hyper-V will not be displayed."

    Coreinfo.exe says the same thing:

    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5500U CPU @ 2.40GHz

    Intel64 Family 6 Model 61 Stepping 4, GenuineIntel

    Microcode signature: 00000021

    HYPERVISOR * Hypervisor is present

    VMX - Supports Intel hardware-assisted virtualization

    EPT - Supports Intel extended page tables (SLAT)

    I did a lot of hunting and already tried the below assuming some corruption:

    "SFC /scannow" & reboot,

    "dism /online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth" & reboot

    "bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off & reboot

    None of these worked.

    Why does it say the hypervisor is present when I have uninstalled Hyper-V ? What can I do to fix this and run VMware ?
