Windows 10: Hyper V - quick help

So I had this good working HyperV VM machine windows ; couple of years, working fine.Now suddenly it gives this error belowVirtual Machine Connection The application encountered an error while attempting to change the state of 'XXXXX'. 'XXXXX' failed to start. Virtual machine 'XXXXX' could not be started because the hypervisor is not running. See details Virtual Machine Connection The application encountered an error while attempting to change the state of VM AD first'.

I don't see the "Quick Create" option in Hyper-V Manager

It's worth noting that the "Quick Create" option is only available on Windows 10 version 1709 or later. Therefore, I suggest verifying which version of Windows 10 you are currently using by navigating to "Settings" > "System" > "About" and checking the version and build number.

If you are running a compatible version of Windows 10 and still can't see the "Quick Create" option, I suggest following the steps below to check if this option has been disabled or to create a new virtual machine manually:

> Open the Hyper-V Manager and click on "Action" from the menu bar.

> Select "Hyper-V Settings" from the drop-down menu.

> Under "Virtual Hard Disks", click on "Default Stores".

> Make sure that the "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives" option is unchecked.

> Click on "OK" to save the changes and close the dialog box.

> Close and reopen the Hyper-V Manager to see if the "Quick Create" option appears.

If you're still unable to find the "Quick Create" option, you can create a new virtual machine manually by selecting "New" from the menu bar and following the prompts.

Hyper-V lets you run an operating system or computer system as a virtual machine on Windows. Before proceeding in disabling
Hyper-V, please create a backup of your files for security purposes.

To disable Hyper-V, please follow the steps below:

• On the Cortana search box, type Turn Windows Features on or off and press
  Enter.
• Look for the Hyper-V folder.
• Uncheck the tick-box next to the main Hyper-V folder and click
  OK.
• Restart your PC.
