  1. Hyper-V window slow appear

Helloafter some Windows 10 update, my Hyper-V window appears very late. When i need to press any key in order to boot up from DVD, i cannot, since window is still in load mode. It will load only after complete VM OS is booted. Hyper-V Window is either white or black, but i can see that all is running in small preview window. is there any way for me to fix this bug ? i am running Win 10 21h1, Xeon W-10885M with 96GB RAM

    :)

  2. Hyper V deativication

    Hi Geoffrey,

Hyper-V lets you run an operating system or computer system as a virtual machine on Windows. Before proceeding in disabling
Hyper-V, please create a backup of your files for security purposes.

To disable Hyper-V, please follow the steps below:

    • On the Cortana search box, type Turn Windows Features on or off and press
      Enter.
    • Look for the Hyper-V folder.
    • Uncheck the tick-box next to the main Hyper-V folder and click
      OK.
    • Restart your PC.

Should you have further questions, please let us know.

    Hyper-V on Windows Home Edition?

In my "Services (Local)", the following are listed:

    Hyper-V Data Exchange Service

    Hyper-V Guest Service Interface

    Hyper-V Guest Shutdown Service

    Hyper-V Heartbeat Service

    Hyper-V Remote Desktop Virtualization Service

    Hyper-V Time Synchronization Service

    Hyper-V VM Session Service

    Hyper-V Volume Shadow Copy Requestor

Since Hyper V isn't supposed to be on Windows 10 Home, I'm wondering what's going on and why it is in my Services. Are there any other services which would appear in Windows 10 Pro, Enterprise or Education that shouldn't appear in Windows 10 Home Services?

    Thanks!

    Hyper-V window slow appear

    Moving Hyper-V to Another Disk

    1. Export the virtual machines to the drive where you want to move them (tutorial).
    2. When all VMs have been exported, delete them in Hyper-V Manager.
    3. When Hyper-V Manager is empty, not showing any VMs, import the previously exported VMs (tutorial). In Option One Step 6 of the tutorial, you need to select Register the virtual machine in-place, or if choosing Option Two in tutorial, select Step 2.
    Easy!
