hyperlinks between word documents on hard drive no longer work. computer has just been upgraded from windows7 to windows10.

Onrdrive and hyperlinks in pdfs

I have moved pdfs onto Onedrive into folders. The documents have hyperlinks/bookmarks which work fine as long as they point to places within the subject document. If have a hyperlink to another document,, then the hyperlink to the other document does not
work, while if on my PC everything is fine.

The folder structure is identical to my PC on One drive. I have even tried hyperbase and relative addresses.

Any suggestions please?

 

embedded hyperlinks in Word documents don't work now that I've "upgraded" to Windows 10

I use Word in my work and email the docs (97-2003 version compatible) to my employer. I utiize both written out hyperlinks and embedded hyperlinks. He is still using Windows 7 and does not plan to change, since he relies on him computer to do his work
and he doesn't want any compatibility problems. When he receives the word docs I send him, the embedded hyperlink doesn't work- there is a message that it isn't correct and may have been entered improperly. It is identical to the other, written out hyperlink,
which does work when clicked on. So, this must be a Windows 10 problem and, since I have a number of documents which I do which hold embedded hyperlinks which are sent out to hundreds of clients, they must work across what ever systems they are sent to. Can
I go back to Windows 8, or is there a fix for this problem?

 

Wrong "remove from list" document on word mobile.

To further assist you with your concern about re-enabling files that were removed from the Recent Documents List in Word, we suggest to follow this steps:

• Click the FILE tab in the program.
• Click Options from the list on the left side of the screen.
• On the Word Options dialog box, click Advanced in the list of options on the left.
• On the Advanced screen, scroll down to the Display section. Select the value in the Show this number of Recent Documents edit box. You can choose to change the value to 0 to disable the list.
  
• When you open Word, or select the Open option in the program, there are no documents in your Recent Documents list.
• To re-enable the list, go back into the Word Options dialog box and enter the desired value (from 0 to 50, inclusive) in the Show this number of Recent Documents edit box on the Advanced screen. If any documents were previously displayed in the Recent Documents
  list, they are added to the list again.
