    Hyperlinks in Outlook e-mails won't open in Firefox. Any suggestions why and what is solution


    Having had no problems at all with opening hyperlinks in Outlook e-mails in Firefox my system will not now let me do it. Get a message that refers to my not having permissions and contacting the system administrator.Copying the links into Firefox works fine. but it is becoming a pain.Any ideas?Thanks

    Cannot Open Hyperlinks Outlook 2010

    I have scoured the Internet, tried a variety of things, but none have fixed an inability to open a hyperlink in Outlook 2010. I believe this started when I uninstalled Firefox and Adobe Acrobat Reader temporarily.

    Upon clicking on a hyperlink in an e-mail in Outlook 2010, I get this error message.

    "This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator".

    Uninstalling, reinstalling, and changing default browsers (IE, Edge, Chrome, Firefox) does nothing. I am at wits end. ANY suggestions would be very welcome.

    Notes: Opening hyperlinks from Outlook.com works fine. Outlook 2010 as in Office 2010 does not work.

    Outlook 2010 E-Mail Hyperlinks Are Truncated At The "&" Symbol When Sent To IE11 In Windows 10

    When I click on a hyperlink in Outlook 2010, IE fails to open the correct webpage if the hyperlink contains an "&" in the link. The hyperlink is truncated at the "&", and often a message is displayed indicating that the URL cannot be found (or sometimes
    only the homepage at the website opens). I can copy the entire hyperlink and paste that into IE 11 and open the page, but not by directly clicking on the e-mail hyperlink itself.

    Tried resetting IE settings. Chatted with MS support -- their solution: Use Firefox!

    (But, unfortunately neither Edge or Firefox is completely compatible with Norton Internet Security, at least at this time.)

    Why should this suddenly start happening? I have not altered any settings
