Windows 10: Hyperlinks not working

Following a torrid week of 3 Windows 10 cumulative updates [KB4494441 (OS Build 17763.503) (twice) and KB4505056 (OS Build 17763.504)] which each wiped almost all of my programme settings, the problem I am left with is an ability to click through hyperlinks in messages on Outlook (although I can on Mailbird and gmail) or hyperlinks in Word documents.


The message is "This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on your computer . . . etc"


My MS Office suite is Officeproplus 2010.


As far as I can tell, everything is up to date.

• Do you have Internet Explorer set as a default program?
• Do you face the issue only with the hyperlinks from an email?
• On which email application do you face this issue?

We would suggest you to copy the hyperlink or use an hyperlink from a wordpad and check if you face the same issue.

Win 10 Calendar Events hyperlinks?

Support for hyperlink formatting has been added to the Calendar app Version 17.8241.41275.0. To check the version of your Calendar app, click the Gear icon to access
Settings, then click About. If you don't have the most recent version, we suggest that you update it through the Store app. To do this, follow these steps:

• Click Start.
• Choose the Store app.
• Click your profile picture near the search bar.
• Choose Downloads and Updates.
• Click Check for Updates.
• Install the latest updates for the Mail and Calendar app (these two apps are bundled together).
  

Let us know if hyperlinks work properly after installing the latest updates.
