    HyperV: how do i check if my computer supports virtualization?


    My name is Robert Fassbender, I am running windows 10 pro on old laptop by Dell Inspiron1545 When I first got it I loaded Windows 7 on it, now I am running Windows 10 Pro. It is hypervmy understanding that windows 10 deos not support XPMode? I have searched the internet and then found quite a few possibilties. I looked through all of them, one thing i noticed they were all written for a different windows 10 then I have, because they asked for things that my windows 10 doesn't have and even files that I couldn't find. I now have hyperv. I was wondering and how do i check if my computer supports virtualization? my other question is, doI need hyperv, and does Windows 10 support virtualization, and does my laptop support virtualization?

    hyperv no longer disable instantgo?

    I installed win10 and enabled hyperv. In win8.1 instantgo will be disabled but in windows 10 it seems still on. Is hyperv no longer conflicting with instantgo?

    Can't disable HyperV

    Hi, I am trying to disable Hyper-V as I need to use VirtualBox. I have deleted all the VM's in HyperV Manager and stopped the service. Whenever I try to remove it it restarts and then says Windows needs to undo the changes. After this HyperV is still installed.

    Can anyone help remove this?

    HyperV: how do i check if my computer supports virtualization?

    HyperV issues after update KB4103725

    I have had two hyperV locations with windows server 2012 R2 fail on this update(KB4103725)

    Symtoms:

    1. hyperV host Nic changes from domain network to public network.

    2. hyperV guests loss network connectivity.

    Are there any known patches which address the above symptoms?
