    When I was trying to fix it yesterday I used Driver Easy and updated all my drivers including the usb drivers and audio drivers but it has still persisted. I have checked again for any new drivers but it hasn't shown anymore results. Audio troubleshooter doesn't list the Cloud 3 as an audio device.

    Did you install the headset as mentioned in the following link? https://support.hyperx.com/Headsets/Cloud-III/

    The HyperX NGENUITY software allows you to customize your HyperX products, but it might not work properly if it's outdated or not installed correctly. Try updating to the latest version of the software, or uninstalling and then reinstalling it.

    If you reinstall it, after uninstalling it, go to the device manager too and uninstall what you see as audio detected for the headset.

    Then restart Windows to let it reinstall the drivers and then install HyperX NGENUITY.
