    shift key issues

    on my asus laptop, when I press the left shift key I get a hyphen and when I press the right shift key I get a small letter c

    I have to keep holding the shift key down to use it to make capital letters, then arrow back and remove the hyphen or c

    I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the Keyboard drivers and check if it works:

    Follow the steps to uninstall the keyboard drivers:

    • Press Windows Key + X key.
    • Click on Device Manager.
    • Right-click on the Keyboard drivers listed and click on ‘Uninstall’.
    • Select the option to Delete driver software.
    • Restart the computer after its uninstalled.

    Hyphen key not working

    Hello,

    The hyphen key (-) on my keyboard is not registering. However the underscore (_) sign works when holding shift. I have found that the hyphen does not work even on the virtual keyboard.

    This happened sporadically today, no windows updates or anything.

    Windows version:

    Windows 10 Home

    Version 1809

    OS build 17763.253
