Windows 10: I accidentally "Always open with" all Windows apps

It's kind of a long story, I installed an app on Windows 7 that changes the app's main icon that does not need a shortcut, but to do that, I need to open an app with that icon changer, then clicked on the app once clicked on the "open with" on the top left, and found a list of apps, i clicked browse, and located the icon changer, but the check box below that says "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file", and it's checked, and I can't un-check it. But when I clicked "continue", all of the Windows apps' icons has changed, and when I opened one of them, a windows opens that s

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

I did that to no avail, then I ran WSReset.exe; now I'm good on all 3, Mail, Calendar and People! *Confused

Can I customize the list of suggest apps in the "Open with" menu?

You can't use it to add additional programs, only to set default programs.

Interestingly for me it shows nothing for text files:








Then if I want to add a portable app like Jarte Plus to open with context menu windows doesn't like it.





It's not present and is near impossible to add even via "look for an app on this PC"
