Windows 10: I accidentally blocked my C Drive Which is the system drive with controlled folder access

Hi, I accidentally blocked my C Drive Which is the system drive with controlled folder access, something weird staring to happen after i restart my computer. My window system keep crashing and i can't even open task manger and or go to setting, my window just keep not responding after i sign in. I can't even open the window security. Any solution?

No access to control panel or C drive folders

I have recently installed Windows 10 and I have been attacked by a malware Trojan. I have been sweeping and cleaning but I wanted to remove the Trojan from the control panel or root file from the C drive, but I can't access either. I'm fairly sure I'm
being blocked. How can I bypass and get to the control panel and/or C drive, please?

 

Windows 10 c: drive not accessable

I was trying to solve a problem I had with accessing several folders, following the steps on a web site, and

I got a message that the owner of the C; drive was being erased!

Since then I have no access to the c: drive, I keep getting "access denied", "you don't have the proper permissions", "you don't have read permission", and when I finally got into Safe Mode and clicked on C:/properties/security, it said "Owner: Unable to
display current owner".

I've tried more methods than I want to list trying to get ownership of the C: drive and set permissions back where they belong.

Where is the c: drive owner entered? Would I need to RegEdit? If so, please provide step by step because all I know about RegEdit is that it's dangerous to mess with.....

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Controlled Folder Access blocked

The Controlled Folder Access is an enterprise-class ransomware protection component that was recently added to Windows Defender. When you turn on Controlled folder access, a lot of the folders you use most often will be protected by default. This means that
content in any of these folders cannot be accessed or changed by any unknown or untrusted apps. Once you add additional folders, they become automatically protected as well. To add protected folders:

• Select Virus & threat protection settings.
• Under Controlled folder access, select Protected folders.
• Select Add a protected folder and follow the prompts to add folders.

If you see an App is blocked message when you try to use a familiar app, you can simply unblock the app. If this message displays:

• Write down or take note of the path of the blocked app.
• Select the message, and then select Add an allowed app.
• Browse for the program you want to allow access.
