Windows 10: I accidentally clicked "Headphones" instead of "Headset" and I can't find a fix on Windows 11.

Discus and support I accidentally clicked "Headphones" instead of "Headset" and I can't find a fix on Windows 11. in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; None of the fixes I found on google or here helped, and I cant find a way to fix it.   1. I accidentally clicked "Headphones" instead of "Headset" and I can't find a fix on Windows 11.


    None of the fixes I found on google or here helped, and I cant find a way to fix it. I also clicked "Don't show again."What I've tried:Going to MaxxAudioPro and clicking the show popup on insert deviceGoing through all the sound settings there areTrying to download Realtek Audio Control which didn't download for some reason Restarting a few times

    Hi,

    I would suggest you to try the below Methods and check if it helps:

    Follow these steps to set the headphone as the default device.

    • Connect the Headphones.
    • Right click on the speaker icon
    • From the resulting search results, click “Sound”.
    • Click the “Recording” tab.
    • Right-click the Headset and click “Set as Default Device
