  1. I accidentally deleted a bunch of folders in my Local Disk C: and now I can't Factory Reset...

I recently got this PC from my dad and I wanted to Factory Reset the PC. When I tried to Reset the PC it said I couldn't because my C: was full so I opened up my C: and selected everything and just deleted it since I thought everything was being factory reset anyways so it didn't matter. While it was deleting it said that there was too much for it to all fit in my Recycling Bin so it would delete everything. After all of that when I tried to Factory Reset my PC a problem occurred and it gave me this: I've been following tutorials to try and fix this issue including:sfc /scannowdism /online /c

    :)

    Accidentally Deleted Some Folders

Yesterday I was cleaning my PC and I accidentally deleted two folders (named "NVIDIA" and "NVIDIA Corporation") in C:\ProgramData. To my knowledge this two folders only contain non important stuff like logs, etc. Later on I have found out my Program Settings in NV Control panel were set to default. This is no big deal, but now I'm worrying I fu***d something up. Otherwise, everything works as it should --> no overheating, BSODs, games are working normally...

I just want to know what I deleted. Were those two folders important???

    Accidentally Deleted Some Folders

While Im not sure of how important they are, I think System restore would put them back and I see they are pretty darn big too 6.5mb and 2.5 GB on my just freshly imaged laptop .

C windows installer folder - Delete?

He can do symbolic link redirection and move the files in it to a different location. *Wink I accidentally deleted a bunch of folders in my Local Disk C: and now I can't Factory Reset... ;)
Better try it out in a virtual of first. Just a suggestion.

    Like:
First move everything in c:\windows\installer to d:\installercache
    Then delete c:\windows\installer folder
Then type this in command mode as admin
    mklink /d c:\windows\installer d:\installercache

Removing those installer files is a bad idea. it might prevent you from updating or uninstalling apps.
