I accidentally deleted all permissions in Windows Defender folder...

Hi there, I've encountered a problem which I created myself...

I wanted to clear protection history in Windows Security, so I followed some tutorials to delete folder named "Service" in this directory -> C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Scans\History. I couldn't delete it because I was getting this error: "You require permission from SYSTEM to make changes to this folder". So I tried to edit permissions in this directory I mentioned and I accidentally deleted all permissions and now my Windows Security is broken. Now I can't even enter into this History folder because I don't have any permission nor does SYSTEM or TrustedInstaller, it's just empty. My Real-time protection and Cloud-delivered protection are turned off and I can't turn them back on.
The description below Virus & threat protection says "Unknown".

That's how my Security tab looks like right now for this History folder, is there a way to restore the permissions? I tried using icals but it didn't work...

I can't change the Owner because I keep getting errors that I have no permission. Is there a way to fix this? I accidentally deleted all permissions in Windows Defender folder... 154ba190-8be7-4b35-842f-a27852a3cc8b?upload=true.png

    Cannot delete .Trash-999 folder

So I am trying to delete a folder from my secondary HDD called .Trash-999 that is from and ubuntu bootdisk. I managed to do it on the c:\ drive, but on my d:\ drive i am getting an error telling me that i don;t have permission to delete it.

I recently had a problem with windows permissions and fixed it on the c:\ drive with a windows re-install but i accidentally set up windows on d:\ The files contained within are from a mistaken windows install, which i tried to delete through ubuntu, it seems that ubuntu was able to move the files to the trash, but unable to delete them entirely.
When i go to security on the folder, it tells me that i don't have permission to do this action. although the permissions on the folder gives re/write to everyone. However, when i go to the individual folders in there, no one has permission and when i try to give permission i get an access denied message.

Update - I just found a nifty little program that adds a take ownership option to the right click menu, this has allowed me to (finally) delete all the folders/files i need to.

I accidentally deleted all permissions in Windows Defender folder...

    Accidentally Deleted Some Folders

Yesterday I was cleaning my PC and I accidentally deleted two folders (named "NVIDIA" and "NVIDIA Corporation") in C:\ProgramData. To my knowledge this two folders only contain non important stuff like logs, etc. Later on I have found out my Program Settings in NV Control panel were set to default. This is no big deal, but now I'm worrying I fu***d something up. Otherwise, everything works as it should --> no overheating, BSODs, games are working normally...

I just want to know what I deleted. Were those two folders important???
