Windows 10: I accidentally deleted my mediatek WiFi adapter. How can I install it back?

In device manager, the power adapter is gone. Can someone help me to install it back?

WIFI 6 (Mediatek MT7921) disconnects randomly

Thanks to you i have fixed this problem. I have Asus M16 (2021) and wifi card disconnected random. Now it's ok. I hope that windows update doesn't blow everything up again....

 

How to Install MediaTek WiFi Adapters for B550M-A WIFI II Motherboards?

Hello Everyone, I have recently built a PC and my WiFi adapter is not showing up. I have a ASUS Prime B550M-A WIFI II motherboard and I have gone to the ASUS website downloaded the recommended Wireless setup folders and extracted it into a thumb drive to install it on my new PC. What I have done....

1. In the extracted files the "AsusSetup.exe" comes with this popup message: "Does not support this Operating System: WNT_10.0H_11_64" (I have a Windows 11 Home OS 10.0.22631 Build 22631"

2. I have also tried to install the "Install.bat" file by running it as administrator (a cmd window opens and closes, nothing happens...)

3. The Window controller in the BIOS is enabled.

4. Did a Network Reset from the settings.

5. Attempted to install the driver manually by attempting to find the inf file from the folder where the "AsusSetup.exe" belongs (Adapter appears in device manager, but comes up with "This device cannot start. (Code 10)"

6. Plugged it off the wall and PC battery socket which I have read some people do, but this still doesn't work.

7. The wifi adapter is from MediaTek, i have also gone to their official website and tried to find the WiFi drivers, but was unsuccessful.

I was also just wondering if I can install other WiFi drivers from different Manufacturers like Intel or is this not recommended.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

WiFi Adapter question

To be honest, I keep losing my wifi connection and Im almost positive its not due to my internet connection or Router or anything like that. VERY often, everyday, all day it keeps happening. The troubleshooter always resolves it by "reset wifi-adapter" (I believe this is the step it takes that resolves the problem) before it happens again anyways. Its driving me nuts ! Most time when it suddenly goes out (the connection) all the networks that should be in "show available networks" or all but the one I was connected to, disappear. I run the troubleshooter and it ends in resetting the wifi adapter. And it works. 10 minutes later, it happens again. Im trying to pin down the problem here. Thank you for your help.
