Windows 10: i accidentally deleted my Microsoft.Zune Music trying to follow a tutorial on fixing...

When i was trying to open a photo it kept saying "Package could not be registered" and this caused me to search for online tutorials.I tried to do the sfc scannow and i still could not open the photos. So i tried to follow a tutorial that deleted the microsoft.zune and reinstalling it. I was able to uninstall it at first but when i tried to open the windows powershell i could not download it again for it kept saying "0x80073CF6, Package could not be registered. An internal error occurred with error 0x80070057."pls help me i know nothing of technical problems and this is making my head hurt.the

Any way to get the Zune software to work on Windows 10?

I still have and love my old Zune HD, it's my main music player, but I recently moved from a Windows 7 computer to a Windows 10 and I can't seem to install the software anymore. I tried looking online for fixes and found the offline Zune installer since the software is no longer supported by Microsoft and it can't contact the Microsoft Zune page anymore. A lot of people said this worked for them but I still keep getting errors. I've ran out of things to try and was wondering if anyone here knew how I could make it work?

This is the error I keep getting:





It goes through the preparing your computer step and onto the installing step, gets to about 6-13% and then jumps to 88% and then the error pops up. I tried installing the firmware first as someone online suggested but that didn't help either (though I had the x86 version first and now when I try to install the right x64 version it pops up that a version of this is already installed but it's not under my program files for me to delete the wrong one.) Either way, the error occurs regardless of what I've tried. My only other option is to use a VM but I really don't want to as that's so much more trouble. I'd love to get it working on my Win 10!

Zune comes in three colors: black, brown and white.


To get started with great music and videos out of the box, every Zune device is preloaded with content from record labels such as DTS, EMI Music’s Astralwerks Records and Virgin Records, Ninja Tune, Playlouderecordings, Quango Music Group, Sub Pop Records, and V2/Artemis Records.

Zune Accessories
To enhance the Zune experience, three accessory packs help Zune users enjoy their music where they want to, at home or on the road. The packs and the individual accessories, all designed exclusively for Zune, will be available at launch:

• The Zune Car Pack includes everything needed to hit the road with a Zune device, such as the built-in FM tuner with AutoSeek and the Zune Car Charger.

Microsoft Closing Down Windows Live and Zune Brands

Microsoft is reportedly killing off two of its service brands, Windows Live and Zune. The two will be restructured and amalgamated with Windows 8 and its store. Windows Live has been a collection of optional services bound to the MSN/Live ID for Windows 7 that provides communication (Windows Live Messenger), calendar/planner (Windows Live Calendar), contacts, photo-organizer; Zune Music and Video player join them on the chopping block. These services will be instead come to be known as:

• Microsoft Account (Windows Live ID)
• Mail (Windows Live Mail)
• Calendar (Windows Live Calendar)
• People (Windows Live Contacts)
• Photos (Windows Live Photo Gallery)
• Music (Zune Music Player)
• Video (Zune Video Player)
