Windows 10: I accidentally hit pause updates and now i can't unpause. How do I restart udpates?

Discus and support I accidentally hit pause updates and now i can't unpause. How do I restart udpates? in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I have no resume updates button and I can't click on the pause to unpause?     I accidentally hit pause updates and now i can't unpause. How do I restart udpates?


    I have no resume updates button and I can't click on the pause to unpause? I've also checked under Advanced Options and have toggled everything but metered conections to on. And, I have restarted my computer. Suggestions????? I am on a SurfacePro

    Pause updates unpaused itself

    Running the latest Creator's Update and my paused updates just unpaused themselves.

    The PITA factor with this OS's updating just continues to grow. Anyone else have their paused updates 'unpaused' by this monstrosity of frustration?

    PS I paused from advanced settings under Windows Update Settings and it should have had more than month of limit before I 'had' to unpause. And I never turned off or restarted my machine.

    Active Hours in Settings could be the first port of call, then I like this one:
