Windows 10: I accidentally locked my laptop using phone through Microsoft account but now I am enable...

I have gone through the Microsoft website and locked my laptop but now I can't unlock it since it's showing "This device is locked by an administrator. Ask any of the administrators sign in to unlock it." This error ont he lock screen please hel me

To answer your query, we suggest that you create a new local account then associate it to your Microsoft account. That's the time you can access your laptop using the Microsoft account.

Accidentally 'Locked' my own Dell Laptop

That's it. I accidentally clicked to lock my own laptop via MS account, thinking it was someone else's laptop.

So, there is no unlock button.

When I try to put my pin on that laptop, it says that the administrator has to login first.

I tried to remove that laptop from MS account, then to register it again. With my laptop series number, it says it doesn't find it.

I cannot understand how is it possible that there is a button to lock a device, via Microsoft account, without an unlock button, or a clear message stating that once you did it, there's no way back.

I even tried to restore my laptop via BIOs to Factory Default, but apparently it DOES NOT disconnect from microsoft login, so it still asks for some administrator, which is myself, on that laptop, locked.

What am I missing here?

 

Bitlocker Randomly Enabled

Hi,

On my personal Lenovo laptop, Bitlocker somehow randomly was enabled. I have not enabled it, and I followed the recovery steps without luck. It seems that it was enabled during an update. I logged into my Microsoft account, see that the laptop is listed, but there is no bitlocker key listed. I am at a loss on what the next steps might be for me to be able to log into my computer at this point.
