Windows 10: I accidentally set my main monitor to a device that isnt even a monitor, i dont have any...

As i just stated i do not have any other device that could function as a monitor, my screen is blank but it shows the cursor still, the computer runs almost normally but anything i do doesn’t show up on the ACTUAL main monitor, the fake non-existent monitor is set to the main monitor and as such, crtl + win + **** + b does not work, it just sets it to the nonexistent monitor. I’m not sure if this maters but the device i made the main monitor was a phone.

Trouble with 2 monitors

I suggest you to change the settings to Extended Monitor and check if it helps.

Please follow below steps:

• Right Click any ware of the Desktop, and launch Personalization.
• Go to dual monitor settings under personalization, and change it Extended Monitor.

I accidentally set my monitor to not primary display

I accidentally pressed something and saw display settings for monitors, I only had one monitor but it showed two, and then I scrolled down and pressed something that made the monitor a secondary monitor accidentally because I was being dumb and it went pitch black. i heard the two monitor glitch is something like ghost monitors. and i have tests tomorrow!

I understand that you are facing issues with the display scaling on your external displays. We will certainly look into this for you.

As you are using Vizio TV, you may have to try using custom resolution settings if the in-built settings do not provide the required settings.

For better clarity, please let us know:

• What is the version of Windows 10 that is currently installed on your computer? You can click on Search and type
  winver.
• Are you aware of any recent changes to the system, such as updates, after which you are facing this issue?
• What is the make and model of your computer?

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to check the steps mentioned in the Workaround section in

I would also suggest you to check the Display drivers. Please refer
