Windows 10: I accidently bought the wrong version of minecraft windows instead of java and now I can...

It happened less than one hour ago, I bought the windows version of minecraft because I use windows I said to myself but it turned to be a silly mistake of my part because all of my friends are playing the java version. I immediately tried to open a refund request but I could not find the button, I also tried to talk with the online support but I was only being redirected to the community. I know this might not be the correct place for this but I don't know what else to do. I hope a member of the support team can read this and guide me through the refund process.

A while back, I decided to buy Minecraft on this computer. However, I accidentaly ordered the Windows 10 version instead of the Java edition. Would it be possible for me to trade in my current version for Java edition?

If you have purchased several copies of Minecraft from Mojang, then I suggest you to refer the
Mojang refunds policy and check their refund policy.



If you want to swap your editions of Minecraft that you have purchased, please
Contact Mojang Support and they will help you with this.



If you have purchased Minecraft from Microsoft Store, then I suggest you to refer
Returning items you bought from Microsoft Store for exchange or refund
and check if you can get a refund.



As you need the Java Edition of Minecraft, you can follow the steps mentioned in
How do I install Minecraft: Java Edition? and install
the Java Edition of Minecraft on your computer.



Before purchasing the Java Edition of Minecraft, I suggest you to refer the system requirements for installing the Java Edition of Minecraft from

So I bought The minecraft Java edition and it said I had purchased it and everything but its not showing up on my computer. Its been months and still no minecraft. I bought it on the main Minecraft website. It will only let me play the
demo. I don't know whats wrong!!!!!
