Windows 10: I accidently closed my laptop during an update

I accidently closed my laptop during a windows 10 update but now it doesnt even turn on even if i plug it in what do i do in this situation the exact laptop is the HP ProBook x360 11 G1 11.6" TouchScreen Notebook PC - INTEL PENTIUM N4200 1.1GHz 4GB 128GB SSD Windows 10 Professional The LED that indicates it is on is lit up but the charging one is not + the screen is not turned on and the white light on the top of the back panel is also not on should i try to unscrew the bottom and attempt to remove the battery? And when i hold the power button down the charging LED flashes. Should I wait

Accidently closed laptop during update...

Hi, as per subject, I accidently closed my laptop after clicking update and shutdown.

After turning it on again the following morning, the fans just whirr and the screen is black. My wife says there was a basic blue and white screen saying updating when it first turned on, then turned black.

It is a HP probook laptop running Windows 10, I have tried a hard reset by taking out the battery but to no avail.

Laptop goes to sleep when the LID is closed while playing the game.

To assist you better, I suggest you to answer the below questions.

• Have you connected the external monitor to the Laptop?
• Did you make any recent changes prior to the issue?
• Are you facing this issue specifically when playing the specific Game?
• Are you facing this issue after any recent updates installed?

This issue might have caused due to the power settings for the closing of LID is set to sleep mode.

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + X keys and select the Control Panel.
• Select Power options by searching in search box.
• Right side select Change Plan setting next to the power plans.
• Select the Change advanced Power plan settings.
• Under the list select and expand Power buttons and lid.
• Select Turn off the display under the drop down of setting.
• Click Apply. Ok.
• Close the LID and Check if the issue resolves.
