Windows 10: I am able to access the project options on my pc but whenever i click on duplicate it...

I am able to view the project options every option is working leaving the duplicate screen option it is not being fixed .

Duplicate option not working in Project function

I am trying to connect my Laptop to TV via HDMI. After connecting both the devices with HDMI, i go to the project function key and i am given four choices to project the PC screen, (1) PC screen only (2) Duplicate (3) Extend (4) Second screen only. All
the functions work perfectly except Duplicate key. Whenever i try to cduplicate my screen, it either extends the screen to left or simply shows only the PC screen. I changed the the TV and used my friends LCD Monitor with it, but the result is same.

We understand your concern as you are unable to cast your android device to Windows 10 PC. In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below.

• What is the make and model of the PC?
• What is the Android version installed on the device?

Meanwhile, we would suggest you to perform these steps and check if you are able to cast the device.

1. Press Windows + I key to open
   Settings.
2. Click on System and then click Projecting to this PC.
3. Under Some Windows and Android devices can project to this PC when you say it’s OK select the drop down to
   Available everywhere.
4. Now under Ask to project to this PC select First time only.
5. Under Require PIN for pairing select Never.
6. Now under This PC can be discovered for projection only when it’s plugged into a power source toggle the switch to On/Off.

Once you set these settings follow the steps below.

1. Press Windows + S key together and type
   Connect.
2. Now open Settings on your Phone and click on
   Connected devices.
3. Then select Cast and choose the PC
   name

Hi,

Recent changes or updates applied to your devices can affect the connection from your PC to your tablet. It could be a delay on both devices, try reconnecting them back by disabling and enabling the option. Since you were able to connect before, we'd like
to ask you a few questions:

• Can you tell us your settings under Projecting to this PC?
• What are the troubleshooting steps that you've done so far?
• Were there any recent changes or updates applied to the PC or tablet?
