Windows 10: I am communicating on my iPad as my laptop computer has been locked with a scam HELP

My computer is blocked apparently with a scam and is asking me to call 1-833-444-2668. I’m contacting you on my iPad. How can I get this scam off my computer.?

Over Christmas my grandkids got hold of my ipad and changed the 4 digit code to unlock it. Of course being kids they deny any knowledge-so no help there. Problem is the ipad is now locked and message displayed reads that i must connect to itunes to unlock it. Tried that but i can't get anywhere.

The ipad was bought years ago-2016 i think, using my original hotmail account. I cannot remember the password to that account, haven't used it for many,many years. I'm wondering if anyone can suggest any way to get back into the ipad. It has all my recipes in an app - I just want the recipes.

Apple has designed the iPad to only charge when connected to an approved wall receptacle charger or to a high-amperage USB port only found on Apple iMac and MacBook products. If you connect it to a PC or non-Apple USB port it will not charge.

I suggest you to contact the Ipad support for better assistance.
